That's why we're doing something about it with our Waste-to-Energy Program.
This innovative process takes dirty air filters and generates electricity.
That means not only less disposal waste but also less greenhouse emissions for a cleaner, happier earth.
It starts with AFS picking up your dirty filters and delivering them to a waste-to-energy facility to be processed.
Waste is combusted at a very high temperature, creating steam that turns turbines to generate electricity.
The results: every 2000 lbs. of waste produce 520 KWH of power.
Electricity is generated and used to power homes and businesses.
